ADUs & Garage Conversions in Corona del Mar
Detached ADUs and garage conversions, from plans and permits to a finished unit ready to live in.
ADUs & Garage Conversions for Corona del Mar homes
Picture a one-bedroom unit standing behind the main house, with a bedroom, a living area and a small kitchen of its own. Avalon Studio Design Build designs detached ADUs of that kind. Corona del Mar is about 12.8 miles from Avalon Studio Design Build, and the firm works out of Huntington Beach.
A one-bedroom unit out back
A detached one-bedroom unit stands apart from the house, so its walls, roof and entry belong to it alone. Inside, the plan holds a bedroom, a living space, a kitchen and a bath. The layout comes to you for agreement before anything is built. Avalon's crew puts the unit up, while the team lines up the permits and sets the inspection dates.

Jack L. · Jan 2026 View on GoogleWe recently had our front bathroom remodeled with Eddie & Morgan of Avalon Studio Design Build. Eddie was willing to work within our budget. Diane K. View on YelpEddie did a great job in estimating, feasibility study of yard project. He was more interested in helping than trying to "hook up" a job to make quick bucks. I also checked with the engineer, and he told me 3 other "estimators" did not consider important details, but Avalon Studio Design Build did everything correct. Definitely recommend!
